Although there have been no documented eyewitness accounts of Santa and the North Pole, many books, movies, and songs have been written about kris kringle. Located at the top of the world, the north pole is home to santa claus, his elves and reindeer, and quite possibly the largest toy factory in the world.
Many people have longed for A Look at Santa and the North Pole, but to date there are no known successful expeditions to the toy shop at the North Pole. Santa and the North Pole have long been synonymous with Christmas. Many popular movies have been made about santa claus, and these movies together could possibly serve as A Guide to Santa and His Home in the North Pole.
One of the first things people wonder about is the lifestyle at the north pole. Because of its location at the top of the world, the climate is constantly cold. It’s been speculated that the year-round Christmas-like temperatures help to contribute to the elves’ perpetual Christmas cheer. Santa’s toy shop is the largest employer at the North Pole, although it’s rumored that some elves seek other employment in the form of services for other elves, such as being a dentist.
A Guide to Santa and the North Pole would not be complete without mention of the other residents, the elves and reindeer. One recent movie made mention of the fact that there are very few employment opportunities for elves, and that a job at Santa’s workshop is considered “the big show.” Some movies speculate that the toys made by elves are more of the old-fashioned, wooden kind, while others insist that Santa stays abreast of the current technology trends. Santa’s reindeer make their home in the stables at the workshop. There are nine in all:
-Dasher -Dancer -Prancer -Vixen -Comet -Cupid -Donner -Blitzen -Rudolph
Exactly how Santa and his reindeer are able to travel around the world in one night is a mystery. Some speculate that Santa has magical gadgets that allow him to slow down time, while others claim that the reindeer can fly faster than the speed of sound.
It’s no easy task to write A Guide to the North Pole but it is fun to think about what live for Santa and his elves must be like.
